About Chabon
Chabon is a monthly art series created and curated by Bacheler, a multidisciplinary Haitian artist, using charcoal as the main medium.
Each edition of Chabon transforms the space into a soulful, immersive experience where art meets community—blending live art creation, music, and conversation around creativity, culture, and resilience. Chabon aims to use art as a bridge to connect people, stories, and emotions through the simplicity and depth of charcoal and other mediums. The workshop series continues on July 30.
About Bacheler Jean Pierre
Bacheler Jean Pierre is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves fluidly between painting, music, fashion, and immersive cultural experiences. Rooted in identity and the reclamation of narrative, his series—such as Chabon, Limyè, and Chaloska—explore themes of ego, vulnerability, and transformation. His practice often bridges his experiences as a Haitian creative with global spaces, using charcoal, acrylic, and mixed media to create raw yet intentional minimalism.
