About Native Youth
Native Youth, the stage name for singer/songwriter Gabriela Guerrero, is an indie RnB artist that has migrated all along the spectrum of genres in music. She got her start by attending Miami International University of Art & Design to study for a Bachelor’s in Audio Production. During her sophomore year in college, she was accepted into a DJ competition/reality series on Vevo hosted by Tiesto and quickly flew to California to play a Showcase in Downtown Los Angeles. Native Youth earned a spot as one of the top six finalists and played a closing set at Wet Republic in Las Vegas. After realizing that her true passion lied in Hip Hop and RnB, she flew back to her home in Miami and began working with local producers Triangles & Kaixen to produce her debut EP “Polarized,” which was released in September 2016 and has since received enormous praise.
