About the PAMM Docent Program
Those interested in becoming unpaid docent volunteers may complete the application linked below and send it to beadocent@pamm.org. We will reach out as we are reviewing applications and accepting a new docent group for training. We hope to conduct interviews this late summer/early fall before we onboard a new docent group and look forward to receiving your application.
Docent Program Guidelines:
- This is an unpaid volunteer position.
- Docents are expected to attend 1-2 meetings monthly. These meetings most often take place on Wednesday mornings at the museum.
- Following onboarding and training docents are required to sign up to lead 2-3 public tours per month. Docents are also expected to study and prepare to lead tours on their own.
- Docents are expected to serve for a minimum of two years after completing the onboarding and training process.
