Berlin-based artist Leonor Antunes (b. 1972) produced a new, large-scale installation for the Project Gallery off the entrance area of the museum. Among the most celebrated artists of her generation, Yael Bartana (b.1970) lives in Amsterdam, Tel Aviv and Berlin. Her early video work, both documentary and staged, explores social phenomena that illuminate the complexity of contemporary life, particularly within her native country of Israel.

Bouchra Khalili (b.1975) investigates the experiences of identity, immigration, and transience. Working primarily in film and video, she reflects the nomadic and often transnational state of existence that defines life for many people throughout the world.

Bridging art, architecture, cognitive science, and philosophy, Sarah Oppenheimer (b. 1972, Austin; lives in New York) generates striking perceptual effects through modifications to the gallery environment. With S-281913, Oppenheimer’s newly commissioned project for Pérez Art Museum Miami, the artist intensifies the sensorial dynamics of PAMM’s unique architecture.

Susan Hiller (b. 1940, Tallahassee, FL; lives in London) is an influential pioneer of multimedia installation art recognized for her early adoption of video as an artistic medium and for her ability to transform conventional gallery spaces into haunting, immersive environments.
