Rafael Sotolongo is the Senior Director of Technology at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), responsible for the execution and maintenance of all IT operations at the Museum including technology vendor selection processes, contract negotiations and organization-wide project implementations, while proactively supporting various partners and stakeholders within an IT management framework. 

With over 15 years of executive leadership experience in the tech industry, Sotolongo has guided various tech initiatives that enhance the museum visitor experience, including PAMM’s first augmented reality (AR) program and now aims to use technology as a tool to engage the community with the museum in innovative ways. 

Previously, Sotolongo worked at Auxis as a service delivery manager, where he led day-to-day management of IT operations and technicians to provide end user support and problem resolution for multiple clients with 1,000+ global employees. 

Sotolongo holds a Bachelor’s degree in information technology from American InterContinental University.
