(MIAMI, FL — September 17, 2025) — Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is pleased to host its annual International Women’s Committee (IWC) Luncheon, with significant support from premier sponsor The Related Group alongside supporting sponsors Carnival Corporation and Greene Street, on October 15, 2025. This year, IWC will honor Alexa Isbell Wolman, a longstanding member of PAMM’s Board of Trustees and supporter of the museum’s various committees. The event brings together committee members and patrons from the fields of art, business, fashion, and philanthropy.

The mission of IWC is to create a platform to celebrate women in the visual arts and to further a more balanced representation of women among artists, institutions, collectors, gallerists, and philanthropists. All membership fees and donations to IWC support exhibitions by female artists at PAMM, which have included Yayoi Kusama, Teresita Fernandez, Simone Leigh, Liliana Porter, and Calida Rawles. This year’s luncheon will feature a tour of Shadows and Traces: Selections from PAMM’s Collection—an exhibition curated by Jennifer Inacio that brings together female artists who work in photography and printmaking, supported by IWC. During the luncheon, IWC members will vote between two PAMM exhibitions led by women artists that they would like to support during the following year.

“Women have profoundly shaped modern art, yet remain underrepresented. Founding the International Women’s Committee and shaping our collection are ways to help rebalance that narrative because it’s a truly vibrant cultural landscape that must include women’s voices,” said IWC Chair Darlene Boytell-Pérez.

The museum’s IWC hosts multiple events each year, including receptions, gallery and collection visits, artist-led tours, the annual luncheon, and a spring tea. The annual IWC Luncheon is one of many year-round events that engage and commemorate women in the community who have had a major impact on the arts.

Last year, IWC honored Sarah Arison, a prominent figure in the Miami community who holds leadership positions as the board chair of Young Arts and president of the Arison Arts Foundation, which provides crucial funding for emerging artists. Past honorees have included Carol Damian, Gloria Luria, Rosie Gordon-Wallace, Debra Scholl, and Patricia Phelps de Cisneros.

This year, the IWC luncheon will honor Alexa Isbell Wolman for her transformative leadership in Miami’s arts ecosystem since her move to the city in 2013. Finding the region’s artists and arts community to be inspiring and accessible, Wolman quickly immersed herself in various philanthropic projects to nurture Miami’s artistic talent. In 2015, Wolman was invited to join the PAMM Board of Trustees. She currently co-chairs the museum’s Acquisitions Committee and chairs the Advancement Committee, in addition to co-founding KIDS JAMM at PAMM, the museum’s premier family fundraiser, alongside Jessica Sirmans.

The IWC Steering Committee is chaired by Darlene Boytell-Pérez and includes Trixie Belo-Osagie, Carol Damian, Mireille Chancy Gonzalez, Jill Ginsberg, Alexandra Lane, Tish Squillaro, and Mindy Solomon.

ABOUT ALEXA ISBELL WOLMAN

Alexa Isbell Wolman is an executive, lawyer, philanthropist, and art collector. She serves as the CEO of Greene Street, a medical and retail cannabis company; a partner in Compiler.VC, a venture capital fund focused on healthcare and technology holdings; and a trustee of PAMM.

Originally from Indiana, Wolman received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Southern California and her law degree from UCLA. After working as an attorney at Proskauer Rose LLP in New York, she joined For Eyes Optical Company as general counsel. A dancer in her youth, Wolman has always been interested in the arts and began her philanthropic pursuits during her time in New York. There, she served as the board president and treasurer of Youth America Grand Prix, a ballet organization for children that was featured in the documentary “First Position” (2011). She also served on the Juilliard Council and various committees for the Guggenheim.

In 2013, Wolman and her family moved to Miami, where she quickly became immersed in the city’s vibrant art community. She instantly found Miami’s artists to be inspiring and accessible, and the overarching community to be supportive and nurturing to its talent. Through various transformative interactions, she was invited to join the PAMM Board of Trustees in 2015.

As a trustee, Wolman co-chairs the Acquisitions Committee, which she was honored to chair with the late Dede Moss, and chairs the Advancement Committee. She has also chaired Art of the Party, the museum’s primary fundraising event, and co-founded KIDS JAMM at PAMM, the museum’s premier family fundraiser, with Jessica Sirmans.

Wolman is happily married to her wonderful husband and business partner of 20 years, Adam Wolman, and is the proud mother of her exuberant daughter Xanadu and extremely lazy dog Tabitha.
