Focus Gallery: Purvis Young features paintings primarily from the Permanent Collection that span the career of the self-taught Miami painter whose works, inspired by life in Overtown, are now celebrated throughout the art world. Young passed away in April of this year at the age of 67.

Focus Gallery: Purvis Young is organized by Pérez Art Museum, and funded by donations to PAMM's Annual Exhibition Fund.
