Jamaican-born artist Nari Ward’s first retrospective opens today at PAMM, presenting a rare opportunity for South Florida to enjoy the artist’s work, up close and in person, in their own backyard. Your support on Give Miami Day, a 24-hour online giving event, will ensure that the entire community can enjoy that wonderful opportunity and experience new ways of seeing.
$5,000 – One class visits PAMM for free, including bus, tour, art-making related to the exhibition, and a family passes to bring their family back to PAMM to share all they learned.
$1,000 – Museum passes for free admission will be distributed to members of Miami’s Jamaican community .
$500 – One free guided exhibition tour of Sun Splashed for walk-in museum visitors (Daily tours Tuesday-Sunday at 11am, 12pm and 2:30pm and Thursday evenings at 6:30pm. Tours in Spanish presented by Goya are available every Saturday at 2pm.)
Nari Ward: Sun Splashed is organized by Pérez Art Museum Miami Associate Curator Diana Nawi.
