On March 23rd, the PAMM Teen Arts Council led Teens as Teachers- Intergenerational Collaboration, a teacher and teen workshop focused on examining the ongoing tragedy of school shootings plaguing our nation. Throughout the day, interactive gallery tours, small group discussions, and collaborative art-making fostered honest discussions among students, teachers, activists, and officials. We all walked away from the day feeling energized the take action towards a much needed change. The day was ended on an uplifting note, as we connected our 'actin patches' we made during a collaborative art making session to form a social action quilt (@quilt_collective).
