The PAMM Teen Arts Council (PTAC) is a teen-led, museum facilitated program for youth interested in all things creative. PTAC members help fulfill the Pérez Art Museum Miami's (PAMM) mission to encourage everyone to see art as an incentive for genuine human interaction, communication, and exchange. Through Ambassadorship, Mentorship and Digital Citizenship, teen members creatively interpret and respond to art in order to engage local and global teen audiences.

What we do
PTAC provides a safe and fun environment for teens that is full of possibilities for self-exploration and learning.
- Serve as an ambassador for Pérez Art Museum Miami
- Organize fun and innovative events for South Florida's growing teen audiences
- Collaborate with local teens, professional artists and community organizations
- Develop leadership skills through hands-on experiences via arts programming
- Receive Community Service hours and a stipend
Join PTAC! Pérez Art Museum Miami is now accepting applications from rising high school freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Be a 9 th , 10th, 11th, or 12th grader during the 2020-2021 school year.
Submit a completed application by September 9th, 2020 to firstname.lastname@example.org
You do not need to be an artist in order to apply. Teens interested in art, music, culture, museums and all types of creative outlets are welcome!
PTAC meets every Thursday from 3:30 - 6:30pm and you are required to attend weekly meetings.
Occasional Saturdays and event days are also required beyond regular meeting times.
PAMM takes all school calendars and transportation into consideration when scheduling programming.
PTAC members are expected to follow the rules and guidelines of the program, participate in weekly meetings and occasional events, fulfill solo and group responsibilities such as art assignments, journalistic essays in written, audio and video format, creating and managing online content for the council and develop teen centered events for the museum.
