About Masisi Radio
Masisi Radio is an independent online station for the local community of Black, queer, and trans DJs and artists in Miami. It was founded with the goal of celebrating the diasporic Afro-Caribbean influence on Miami’s music scene and to platform and archive the creativity of Masisi’s ever-expanding community through music and conversation.
Masisi is a Black, queer Afro-Caribbean music collective founded by Akia Dorsainvil that celebrates the cultural lineage across the Afro-Caribbean diasporas through events and programming. Dorsainvil, also known as Pressure Point, is an event producer, DJ, and transdisciplinary artist based in Miami, FL. Dorsainvil is the founder of the art collective Masisi as well as Masisi Radio, whose work centers around highlighting the contribution and talent of black queer artists from the diaspora with a focus on performance, sound design, and film.

The Exclusive Haus of Giuseppe Zanotti (GZ) is a premier performance and fashion-based family within the ballroom scene, founded on the values of excellence, unity, creative expression, and legacy. Inspired by the boldness of the Giuseppe Zanotti brand and the spirit of ballroom culture, the Haus was established in January 2021 by visionary Founding Mother Bianca, charismatic Founding Father Taey, and astonishing Founding Prince Nino. At its core, the Haus is a haven for the LGBTQ+ community, woven from threads of acceptance, love, and creativity. The family provides a platform for individuals to cultivate and elevate their ballroom careers, fostering a sense of belonging and success in everyday life.
