Utilizing the genre of portrait painting—one of the oldest traditions of human picture making—Kate Capshaw creates artworks that explore the socioeconomics of the contemporary moment in America through the narrative of an individual

Como Semillas en el Viento

Commissioned by PAMM, Como Semillas en el Viento is an augmented reality sculpture by Alfredo Salazar-Caro that combines 3D-scanned artifacts from the Mexica pantheon with surreal 3D-scanned portraits of immigrant workers from Central and South America.
